Catalan table tennis players once again shone on the European stage, this time in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They claimed a total of four medals at the latest edition of the Europe Youth Series held in Sarajevo.
In the team event, Daniel Casquero (CETT Esparraguera) earned a silver medal after his team fell to Turkey in the final. Meanwhile, Nil Salan (CTT Calella) secured a bronze medal in the same team competition by defeating Moldova in the medal decider.
Roger Quesada (CTT Badalona) clinched a bronze medal in the singles event after losing in the semifinals to Nazar Bakirov with a score of 1-3. The CTT Badalona player also added a bronze in the doubles competition, partnering with Romania’s David Toru.
