Prime Video has announced the 2026 season schedule for “WNBA on Prime,” which will stream 30 regular-season games, the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final, and postseason matchups live. The first broadcast of the season is set for May 15 at 9:00 AM Japan Time, featuring the Minnesota Lynx against the Dallas Wings. Later that day, at 11:00 AM, the New York Liberty will take on the Portland Fire.
The Dallas Wings roster includes 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers and No. 1 draft pick Azzi Fudd. The New York Liberty feature star forward Breanna Stewart, while the Portland Fire enter as a new expansion team drawing significant interest.
Prior to each game, “WNBA on Prime” will air a 30-minute pregame show, *WNBA on Prime Pregame*. Postgame coverage includes *WNBA Nightcap*, featuring player interviews and analysis. The programs will feature WNBA legends and Olympic stars such as Swin Cash, Candace Parker, Cynthia Cooper, and Teresa Weatherspoon.
For the 2026 season, the Indiana Fever, led by Caitlin Clark, will appear in the most games (eight), followed by the New York Liberty (seven) and the Dallas Wings (six). The Atlanta Dream, home of Angel Reese, and the Las Vegas Aces, featuring A’ja Wilson, are also included in the streaming lineup.
Additionally, Prime Video offers the “WNBA League Pass” subscription, which includes a seven-day free trial. After the trial, fans can watch all games live and on demand for ¥2,200 per month or ¥6,000 per year.
