The number of football players allegedly involved in Italy’s “Caso escort” has been expanded to 70, according to the Italian newspaper *La Gazzetta dello Sport*.

The service offered to wealthy clients—including footballers, sports stars, celebrities, and businessmen—was comprehensive: a dinner show at an upscale restaurant in Milan’s most exclusive district, followed by the option to continue the evening at clubs or in hotel rooms. It is believed that at least 70 footballers attended parties organized by the events agency Ma.De. Milano, which is under investigation for exploitation and complicity in prostitution.

In one recorded wiretap, a voice is heard saying, “I have a friend who is an F1 driver and wants a paid girlfriend. Can we find one?” During those nights, women working for the agency were invited to have sexual relations with clients in exchange for money.

The case also reveals more sensitive episodes, such as that of a young woman who allegedly became pregnant after an encounter with a footballer. “Don’t tell anyone… I took a test and I’m three weeks pregnant,” she said.

The names used as code for clients—who are not being investigated—include Bastoni, Bellanova, Blisseck, Hakimi, Coutinho, Skriniar, Carlos Augusto, De Winter, Leao, Giroud, and Menez. None of them face charges, as being a client is not a crime under current Italian law.

“Unfortunately, it is not a crime; it is not classified as such. The women were fully consenting, so there is no violence; no evidence of violence has emerged in the investigation,” a Guardia di Finanza source stated.

The Milan prosecutor’s office, coordinated by deputy prosecutor Bruna Albertini, has not determined how many people used the accompanying services and drugs (nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas) that were offered.

The agency’s owners, Emanuele Buttin and Deborah Ronchi, along with two collaborators, Alessio Salamone and Luan Fraga, have been placed under house arrest.
